Meet the Auditors
Susanna Whawell
Before auditing, Susanna spent several years in supply chain and logistics in a variety of different roles for blue chip and international firms. She has successfully implemented integrated systems in organisations of all sizes, and across a number of industry sub-sectors.
She has been auditing ISO standards, and in-particular ISO 27001, for 15 years, and has a specialism in early stage technology companies.
Alongside regular auditing, she is a published academic and reviewer, and her academic research interests are concerned with human-systems interface and overcoming barriers to the successful implementation and use of systems. She teaches part time at Manchester Business School, and she also teaches Lead Auditor courses for an IRCA accredited training body.
Fun fact: In her spare time Susanna plays in a national saxophone orchestra, and she also enjoys repairing and restoring vintage saxophones.
